Zack + Kyla = 1st Wedding of 2013

My amazing, awesome wonderful first wedding of 2013. If this is a sign of things to come, my goodness I'm  EXCITED!
This wedding was incredible, amazing and breath taking. Taking place at the Riu Santa Fe in San Jose Del Cabo Mexico. The morning was so relaxed and the whole day had a flow to it that made it such a joy to photograph. We orchestrated a first look that had strangers in tears, Kyla truly put so much effort into her wedding and everything didn't go unnoticed! From the pin wheel bouquets to a  six pence around her ankle (actually the ending to the "Borrowed Something Blue" saying... ya learn something new everyday) everything was so uniquely them.
One look at Zack and Kyla and you'll know they were meant for each other, one look at their families and you'll know why they are such amazing genuine people!
Their Cabo wedding is one I will never ever forget!
I can't thank either of you enough for trusting me and choosing me, it was a pleasure to witness your day and get to know your amazing families.

2013 + Goals = BLOGGING

I'm a bad bad baaaaaaaaaad photographer - I have neglected my own website AND blog for a year. Maybe I'll just tell myself I took a year off, that makes it feel better! (the fact I had no idea what the passwords are anymore doesn't help)

So I have a little bit of catching up to do - just means we get to relive 2012 and I'm A OK with that! What a wonderful amazing year Kay Photos has had. With the help of my amazing clients I went 100% full time photographer. It's been full of it's ups and ... well ups!

My wonderful company and clients have given me the opportunity to chase so many dreams and it's only going to get bigger and better in 2013! I am looking forward to meeting so many more people, witnessing amazing breath taking moments and learning as much as I possibly can!

I'm going to work my way backwards and share some of my December 2012 wedding with you FIRST.

The opportunity to travel for weddings has been so incredible (not once but four times in one year)

Jeff and Jasmine were married at the stunning Marina El Cid Beach Resort in the Mayan Rivera. The weather didn't even attempt to get in the way of this wedding! We had crazy storm clouds that hung around but not one drop of rain from ceremony till the end of the reception!
I even had the special pleasure of having my own husband as the best man (he truly knows how to help me coordinate a shot! Not to mention an awesome location scout!)

Jasmine was simply breath taking and Jeff knew it, as he watched his beautiful bride come down the isle.
These two share a love that is so sincere and real it was an absolute pleasure to photograph them!

Thank you both so much for the opportunity to be apart of your day!
