Crazy April Weather and Ms.Kathryn

By far the wildest weather I have endured (in terms of changing fast) in the Okangan. The wild wind the snow and the sunshine... worth it? ALWAYS!

I met Kathryn at Mill Creek after work ... her and her pup braved the elements! They both rocked it out like complete pros!
I on the other hand... not so pro, I cut my finger and sat on some sort of prickly bush but bleeding and itching aside we carried on.
This is the reason I continue to chase photography and continue to try my hardest to keep learning and improving my skills!
Thank you for this amazing opportunity Kath! You are as gorgeous as you were when I first met you back in elementary school ;)

Enjoy ...

Ms.Maddi

Maddi is a model, Maddi is a barrel racer... Maddi is just a fantastic all round person!
We lucked out, no rain... awesome light!
I feel so blessed to work with such amazing clients and Maddi is no exception.

We played with different locations, different outfits and it all worked out fantastic!
Thanks Maddi!

BCSPCA

So, as an office admin I get a bit of computer time... While cruising the net I read on castanet that BCSPCA had won their court case against a Vernon woman, who had mistreated and neglected 27 horses. I knew I wanted to do something to help... but what?
I surfed the website only to find there were no photos... I quickly emailed the BCSPCA and asked if I could come out and take photos of each and every animal! I feel that pictures say a 1000 words and help people make the connection to the adoptive pet.
So I packed up and off to Salmon Arm I went! I absolutely adored visiting with each horse and seeing the different personalities shine through. I assure you it was very difficult to not take 1 (or all 27) home with me!
I have no doubt they will all find the love and care they deserve so much!
It is evident that in their current care takers home, they have been fed, loved and handled with care!

A few sneak peeks ....
