Last night I was invited to watch a friend's band play at the packing house! Without a doubt I grabbed my camera and with a little advice on band photography from Fifth Eye Photography (in Vernon)... I was on my way!
Who could ask for anything better than, appies, bevvies and live music!
These guys were awesome, everything from the old classics and country to the newest hits and some blues!
Each band member brought their unique talents and personality to the stage! They were truly an all round entertainment
Ladies and Gentleman I give you "The Blue Healers"!

Crystal M - Progressive Shoot
My beautiful friend Crystal is expecting her first baby! What's even more exciting is she's visiting in Kelowna... I just found a reason to love Mondays (or rather this Monday anyway).
We wandered downtown, caught up, talked and even took pictures!
I couldn't be happier for this stunning woman! She's one of the most genuine, heartfelt people I know and will make a phenomenal mother!
Ok ... enough gushing... there are a few ones to get you started

2 Countries - 1 Love
March 13th took me to Peachland for a small intimate wedding where Kristi the Canadian married Ian, the proper Englishman!
Thank you to Ian and Kristi for making this day so much fun! For being up for anything and always smiling and full of laughter!
You guys were truly made for each other!
Wishing you all the love and joy in your years to come!

Digging Up the Past 2009 Wedding
So this evening I sat down and backed up some files, revisited some shoots and chose to play around with further editing on one in particular... my Fraser Lake couple, Kyle and Leanne.
This was by far the furthest I went for a wedding in the 2009 season. I adored every portion of being up in Northern BC, from the long drive of just me singing along to tunes, to all the new people and friends I got to meet (Namely Shelley Work and Breanne Caufield).
Leanne and Kyle were my ultimate country couple, both very active in the western disciplines of the horse world.
Here are a few updated photos from their wedding!
Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to visit your beautiful home town, and congrats on the soon to be new addition to your family.

Balloons and Babes
As with another weekend, another photo shoot (we know I can't go a WHOLE weekend without one!)
I've had the privilege of photographing the different stages of Kylee Mae! From the maternity shoot and through the months I've watched her grow, change and become her own little person.
At 10 months old she's beautiful, stubborn and very comical (somewhat like her mother!)
I brought balloons with me and needless to say... they were a hit!
Here are a couple of Jamee and Kylee :)
